2014
After a year of depression more or less, slowly climbing back into life.
Started a new line of creativity with a friend Genie, we set out to buy old vintage worn out pieces and revamp them into newer looking Shabby Chic style pieces. So we are now called" Shabby Gals! "
Where everything old is new again!
We have had alot of fun in our new adventure, but it has been alot of work for us and we are not as young as we thought we were! Our Hubby's help out with all the heavy haulin back and forth to our sales venues, but they aren't as young as they thought either, so who knows how long this will last!
But for now we have enjoyed it!
Here is just a few samples of what was transformed from really old and worn pieces into Shabby Chic style pieces!

Wow, it has been awhile since I have posted anything.
It was a rough year in 2012-2013. First my sister and business partner moved back to our hometown in Indiana in the summer of 2012 and I honestly didn't blame her , she had 2 wonderfull little Grandaughters that she needed to be with.
and then my Mom moved back to Indiana November of 2012, she went back to visit and because of health reasons decided to stay, so we had alot to do to get her moved and settled with all her stuff , and then that left us with a house to figure out what to do with, and once we were all settled back down my Mom became ill and for several months she was in and out of the hospital and open heart surgery and months later we lost her . So needless to say it was a horrible 2013.
I miss my Mom so very much and she was always with me and ready to jump in and help me out with all my projects I needed to make and the things I needed to get done.
I miss my sister and business partner also and so without her it has been very difficult for me to move forward in my business of sewing and crafting.
But it is now 2014 and a new year, so it is time for me to figure out what I am going to do in the future.
I miss sewing and crafting and creating things, so I know I will return to doing this, its just a matter of when and if it is the right time.
I am leaving everything in my life in Gods hands and whatever he wants me to do I will. He will lead me in whatever direction I am supposed to go.
If there is one thing I learned in the past year it was that my plans and my desires were not what God had for me to do.

Shabby Crown!
Found this crown at craft store , brought it home and spray painted it pink on the outside and left the silvery metal on the inside , then I found these Diamonds on a roll and hot glued them and some little pink rhinestones on it and this is how cute it turned out!
